It is a thirty five minute drive to the Tampa International Airport and a twenty minute drive to the Clearwater-St. Petersburg International Airport.

The temperatures on the beach of Belleair Shore tend to be somewhat warmer in winter and cooler in the summer due to the moderating effect of the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
